Chabo Peo
Chabo joined the firm in March 2011 and was admitted as an attorney in the same year. Her practice area is corporate and commercial law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, competition law, capital markets and regulatory advice.

Chabo has experience in advising clients with regulatory and compliance requirements across various sectors including data protection, environmental compliance, mining and energy and telecommunications. Her corporate experience includes advising listed and unlisted companies on mergers and acquisitions, re-organisations and providing general assistance in corporate law and governance matters. Her mergers and acquisitions experience is further strengthened by the exposure she gained while seconded to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Dubai office), where she assisted in private equity transactions. Chabo has extensive experience in competition law including the drafting and preparation of merger notifications, exemption applications, restrictive practices and abuse of dominance.

Chabo graduated deans merit list from the University of Cape Town in 2010 and is a contributor to the Global Competition Law Review and the Mining Law Review.
