Onalenna Otlaadisa
Onalenna joined the firm in 2010 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of Botswana in 2008. She has handled many leading cases in commercial law in Botswana, serving corporate and institutional clients in the financial services sector, mining and aviation.

Her current practice includes assistance in corporate transactions as well as rendering all applicable regulatory advice and engagement with regulators such as the Companies and Intellectual Property Authority, Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority, the Botswana Stock Exchange and the Communications Regulatory Authority, as well as key government departments including the trade and mining departments. This experience is augmented by her exposure to international corporate commercial transactions which she obtained whilst on secondment in the corporate department of a magic circle firm; Slaughter and May, London, the United Kingdom. She has also handled several banking and finance transactions and has recently served as legal advisor (on secondment) to a leading bank in Botswana. Onalenna has been involved in many of Botswana’s leading insolvency and restructuring matters.
